Raymond Alan Shelton, MD is a comprehensive ophthalmologist. He grew up in Maryland and came to Los Angeles to obtain his undergraduate and medical degrees at UCLA from which he graduated with honors. He then completed his ophthalmology residency training at the world renowned Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. During his time at UCLA he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He also participated in research with the distinguished faculty at UCLA.
Dr. Shelton specializes in treating cataracts, glaucoma, pterygium, dry eye disorders, ptosis, age related macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. He has performed over 3,000 eye surgeries. He has been recognized as one of the “Top Doctors” in Pasadena Magazine and is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients.
